• Thousands of tiny flecks that sparkle like the night sky in a gold, green or blue man-made glass*. Invented by accident in the 19th century by an Italian monk who slipped while carrying a pan of copper shavings & spilling the shavings into a vat of molten tinted glass. At first they were upset over ruining the glass, but alas- when the glass cooled, the embedded shavings shimmered like gold. "EUREKA" said the monks. "We've invented goldstone."
